What the contract covers

Works contract

Provision of hard and soft landscaping, civil engineering, and external site improvement works for public park and café facilities.

  • Create an outdoor seating area to the newly constructed café building, including in-situ concrete paving, picnic-style tables, an in-situ concrete retaining wall and cycle parking.
  • Improve the entrance area to the new café building by realigning the road and resurfacing to create a pedestrian area, including a planting bed, seat, crossing point, boulders, knee rail and bollards.
  • Extend the central island to the car park to provide a better crossing point, including boulders and bollards.
  • Carry out earthworks to achieve new levels to accommodate the new building.
  • Apply anti-skid dressing and road marking to improve the entrance to the car park.
