Provision of expert child forensic physician input for children and young people suspected of being victims of sexual or physical abuse. The service requires close collaboration with paediatricians to conduct Joint Paediatric Forensic Examinations (JPFE), ensuring holistic health assessments and the collection of forensic evidence for legal proceedings. The service must be delivered in a timely manner to support the multi-agency child protection process and the judicial system across the West of Scotland.
