What the contract covers

Call-off from a framework agreement

Provision of agricultural landowner engagement and ecological baseline surveying services for environmental catchment management and habitat improvement projects.

Devise a 5-year agricultural landowner engagement strategy, including a launch event, individual farm visits and follow-up visits, and a narrative around making changes that engages local communities.
Deliver the launch event; contact all landowners within the catchment to arrange access for surveys and begin engagement, using landowner information provided by the Environment Agency; and record all landowners' responses.
Complete a walkover of the catchment to assess the ecology of catchment drainage channels and banksides, following the UKHabs survey methodology; record birds, mammals and other wildlife such as dragonflies and butterflies; and produce a detailed report with a catchment map, maps of each reach and photographs.
