What the contract covers

Services contract

Provision of comprehensive in-port marine support services and a vessel replacement programme for UK naval base operations.

Support to In-Port Marine Services across UK HM Naval Bases and other areas in UK waters, including operation and maintenance of UK Ministry of Defence-owned vessels under a Government Owned Contractor Operated agreement.
Towage services to entitled vessels; HM Dockyard movements covered by duty and standby service; passenger transportation; stores and liquid transportation; transport and storage of munitions; waste services alongside, at anchor or mooring buoy; Tiers 1 and 2 Dockyard pollution response; support to military training, exercises, trials and operations; support to emergencies; and additional maritime support.
Delivery of a vessel replacement programme to the Royal Navy, including procurement and introduction into service of Commercial off the Shelf vessels on behalf of the UK Ministry of Defence; vessels are to be built and maintained to UK Flag and Class classification standards and introduced in accordance with an agreed Integrated Test Evaluation and Acceptance Plan.
