Audit and inspection services contract

Provision of independent gas safety audit and quality inspection services for domestic heating systems and boiler installation programmes.

  • Complete Gas Quality Audits supplementing the in-house quality assurance team.
  • Undertake post-service audits within 4 weeks of annual inspection completion, including full strip-down inspection of serviceable appliances connected to a flue and visual inspection of tenant-owned flueless appliances.
  • Undertake post-inspection audits of new boiler installations to verify compliance with current gas regulations, building regulations including Boiler Plus, and any specific SMBC specification requested.
  • Assess completed LGSR paperwork for compliance with the 9 points in 36.3 C of GSIUR98, together with service and completion certificates and installation benchmarks, highlighting omissions and discrepancies.
  • Provide a record and report of each inspection.
