What the contract covers

Security services contract

Provision of professional security services, including emergency response, corporate front-of-house, and high-risk site protection for healthcare facilities.

Provide security cover across all CAVUHB sites during staff absences or emergency situations
Provide SIA-licensed staff able to respond to short-notice requests 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year round
Provide security services for the CAVHIS service at Cardiff Royal Infirmary, which provides public health screening for individuals not registered with a GP and who find it challenging to access healthcare services
Provide security staff with an SIA level 3 (Close Protection Operative) qualification for the Alternative Treatment Service
Protect the GP and staff from physical and non-physical assault in the one-in, one-out service
Provide security services for the front-of-house area at Woodland House, CAVUHB's corporate Headquarters, maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for staff and visitors
Provide professional, reliable and consistent security services at unoccupied Rookwood Hospital
Mitigate the risk of trespassing, vandalism, theft and other security breaches at the strategically sensitive site
