Provision of face-to-face English language education and tailored learning pathways for adult learners within local community resettlement programmes.

  • Provide face-to-face ESOL education enabling 20 individual learners from South Tyneside resettlement programmes, including asylum seekers, refugees, ARAP and Homes for Ukraine participants, to develop reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to participate confidently in everyday life, education and employment within their community
  • Provide accessible and tailored learning pathways addressing individual needs, goals and potential barriers to participation
  • Increase access to and participation in local English-speaking networks, activities and voluntary organisations to develop sustainable relationships with the wider community
