What the contract covers

Professional valuation services

Provision of professional asset valuation and insurance reinstatement valuation services for local authority property portfolios and financial reporting requirements.

Carry out annual asset valuations so the Council's asset register reflects asset valuations and supports year-end balance sheet figures and movements in depreciation, impairment and revaluations.
Value all Council buildings for full reinstatement/rebuilding cost, including demolition and clearance of the existing structure and rebuilding to its existing design and materials, to an equivalent standard and in accordance with current Building Regulations and other statutory requirements, for arranging insurance cover.
