Children and Communities Grant Tender

Provision of early intervention support services for children, young people, and families, including parenting, wellbeing, language development, and domestic abuse programmes.

• Build family wellbeing and resilience through improved confidence and sense of belonging
• Support families to make the most of their potential, build ambition and encourage learning for life
• Develop skills through volunteering, working with partners and involvement in community-focused activities
• Increase engagement with services and the wider community, including understanding of available support
• Provide timely referrals in and out of the project, with continued community support and conversations with more targeted services where required
• Deliver parenting support for families living within the CCBC area with children aged 8 to 17
• Deliver support for families with children and young people aged 25 and under living in the Caerphilly County Borough Council area affected by low-level mental health, emotional health and wellbeing issues
• Provide information for children aged 3–12 months and their families about the importance of talking, engaging and playing with children in the early years to develop language acquisition
• Deliver the Elklan Let’s Talk with your Baby programme for families with children aged 3–12 months
• Use a range of tools to support key speech, language and communication messages for families
