Provision of independent mediation and disagreement resolution services for families of children and young people with special educational needs.

  • Deliver Mediation and Disagreement Resolution Services for parents/carers of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Provide services designed to help resolve disagreements regarding Education, Health and Care needs assessments, plans and provision.
  • Help resolve disputes before an appeal is lodged with the First-tier Tribunal about a local authority decision, including disagreements concerning local authority or education-provider duties and provision, health and social care provision through the EHCP process, and school exclusions for children with SEND.
