What the contract covers

Works contract

Provision of civil maintenance, structural repairs, and protective coating services for maritime infrastructure and navigational aid sites.

  • Carry out minor civil maintenance repair works and apply decorative/protective coatings to the structures across Dubh Sgeir, Sgeir Liath, Rubha Glas Front and Rubha Glas Rear.
  • At Dubh Sgeir, fabricate a ladder and fender brackets; remove redundant fixings; replace the platform handrail and access ladder; fit new fender brackets and rubber D-fenders; prepare and redecorate the structure; and supply and fit new signage.
  • At Sgeir Liath, remove redundant fixings, carry out pointing repairs, and prepare and redecorate the structure.
  • At Rubha Glas Front and Rubha Glas Rear, strim grass within the compound and around the external boundary, carry out fence repairs, prepare and redecorate the structures, and supply and fit new signage.
