Grass Cutting, Play Areas, Cemeteries, Open Spaces and Verges

Provision of grounds maintenance, grass cutting, and landscaping services for cemeteries, public open spaces, play areas, and roadside verges.

• Cut grass areas at Old St Enoder Cemetery, St Enoder Churchyard, New Indian Queens Cemetery Extension and Strongmans Field Open Space to the specified March–December frequencies.
• Trim and prune hedges and shrubs, clear and remove leaves, maintain path edges and weed-free entrances, and keep the cemetery drainage channel free from weeds.
• Inspect trees regularly and report dangerous or dying trees to the Parish Clerk; maintain graves by levelling and topping up sunken graves.
• Cut and maintain grass at Indian Queens Cemetery, St Enoder Cemetery and their grass verges to the specified seasonal frequencies.
• Maintain cemetery paths, headstone areas, flower beds, hedges, shrubs, trees, drainage ditch, bins, water container, gates, walls and sheds.
• Cut and maintain specified open spaces, allotments, landscaped areas and public seats throughout the Parish.
• Cut and maintain the named recreation grounds, playing fields, play areas, skate ramp, multi-use games area and BMX track, including trimming around play equipment and removing grass from safety surfaces.
• Trim and maintain associated hedges, brambles, ditches, paths and pavements.
• Maintain specified grass verges across Summercourt, Penhale, Fraddon, Indian Queens and St Columb Road, including cutting, trimming and removal of grass from pavements where specified.
• Maintain named open spaces, trees, hedges, bushes, drainage ditches, signs, poles and public seats associated with the verge routes.
