What the contract covers

Commissioned service

Provision of independent service user-led engagement, outreach, and co-production services for maternity and neonatal healthcare systems and clinical teams.

Act as an independent service user-led partnership for the BNSSG Local Maternity and Neonatal System, working alongside maternity and neonatal providers to gather, analyse and present the experiences of women, birthing people, babies and families, and support continuous quality improvement and co-production.
Deliver structured engagement, outreach, data collection and analysis across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire, including culturally safe, trauma-informed and inclusive approaches tailored to diverse communities and representation of Black, Asian and minoritised voices, deprived communities and seldom-heard groups.
Collect, analyse and thematically report qualitative and quantitative feedback.
Co-produce improvement activities with families and system partners.
Represent the MNVP at LMNS governance, safety and quality forums and collaborate with maternity and neonatal clinical teams across the two acute Trusts within BNSSG.
Support MNVP volunteers.
Deliver social media and communications activity to promote engagement.
