Service contract

Provision of independent mediation and disagreement resolution services for families navigating education, health and care plan assessments and statutory appeals.

  • Provide independent mediation and disagreement resolution services to parents/carers of young people who originate or live in Hartlepool and are involved in an assessment of needs, have been refused an assessment, or are dissatisfied with something within their EHCP following a review.
  • Provide mediation enabling eligible parties to take the matter to tribunal in accordance with the statutory requirement under the SEND Code of Practice 2015.
