What the contract covers

Works contract

Provision and installation of playground safety surfacing, including site excavation, sub-base preparation, and removal of existing failed wetpour materials.

  • Remove and dispose of the existing brick edging and wetpour surface, estimated at 275m2.
  • Excavate areas below the removed wetpour and supply, lay and fully compact at least 100mm depth of MOT Type 1 stone.
  • Supply and lay at least 275m2 of re-chipped/recycled clean rubberised material at a minimum depth of 40mm, bonded in situ using appropriate polyurethane.
  • Replace 7 fence posts and 5 gate posts.
