Services contract

Provision of political monitoring, public affairs strategy, and stakeholder engagement services for public sector organisations within the Welsh political landscape.

  • Provide timely updates on upcoming and ongoing Senedd business, including plenary sessions, debates and statements, focused on issues relevant to the Well-being of Future Generations Act and the Commissioner’s priorities and missions
  • Provide rapid, reactive communication on significant political developments from the Senedd and Welsh Government
  • Monitor and report on public-body activities relating to the Act and the Commissioner’s priorities
  • Analyse and assess political decisions, including how they are made and their potential implications for the Commissioner’s work
  • Identify and escalate relevant Senedd Committee activity, sharing key information with the Commissioner in a timely and accessible manner
  • Support structured and proactive engagement between the Commissioner and the Senedd, including identifying and coordinating opportunities through an annual “Y Farchnad” opportunity and other Senedd-based platforms
  • Support broader public affairs activity in the Welsh political landscape with clear, timely and actionable insight supporting the Commissioner’s statutory role
