What the contract covers

Provision of specialist event medical cover and infrastructure planning for large-scale public outdoor events and transport hubs.

  • Provide Event Medical Cover for the Zone Ex footprint and transport hubs for the BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend event at Herrington Country Park, Sunderland
  • Recommend and create an appropriate Zone Ex Event Medical Cover Resource and Infrastructure plan
  • Provide an initial Event Medical Cover Resource and Infrastructure plan for presentation to and evaluation by the Strategic Advice Group
  • Revise the plan to include comments, recommendations and mandated requirements from the Strategic Advice Group, the Council's Events Team and other event partners, and present the final plan for approval
  • Provide the resource and infrastructure according to the approved plan
  • Deliver the Event Medical Cover in accordance with agreed instructions and statutory requirements in a safe and fully inclusive manner
