What the contract covers

Service contract

Provision of domestic abuse target hardening services, including security assessments and installation of physical security upgrades for residential properties.

Proactively source and receive referrals from Peterborough Independent Domestic Violence Adviser (IDVA) Service, Cambridgeshire Constabulary, Cambridgeshire Victim and Witness Hub and other specialist Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Services
Prioritise referrals for high-risk victims of domestic abuse that have been or will be heard at MARAC
Respond to referrals, with an initial contact, within 2 working days and a suitable appointment to complete works within 7 days
Provide victims with the knowledge to keep themselves safe and reduce the chance of repeat victimisation
Install physical security upgrades, where necessary, as a way of providing practical and emotional reassurance
Signpost/refer victims to appropriate support and/or community services where additional needs have been identified
Maintain details of all contact with victims and gather feedback from victims in line with outcome monitoring requirements
Develop and maintain effective links with partner agencies and other agencies who support victims of domestic abuse
