What the contract covers

Service

Provision of professional counselling, psychotherapy, and psychological support services for emergency service personnel, including critical incident defusing and stress management training.

  • Confidential counselling service for all employees, delivered virtually and/or face-to-face
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Psychotherapy and Mindfulness
  • Psychological lead for the DSFRS Defusing Network
  • Critical incident defusing support and training to the defusing team
  • Liaison with internal Health and Wellbeing and the wider People Services team
  • Assistance with provision of management of stress training as and when required
