Service contract

Provision of expert consultancy, training, and resource development to upskill health and social care professionals in trauma-informed practice models.

  • Design and develop a comprehensive toolkit for health and children’s social care professionals in trauma-informed approaches.
  • Provide subject matter expert support to upskill health and children’s social care professionals in trauma-informed approaches and enable implementation of a co-located model for children in care at risk of or subject to deprivation of liberty.
  • Develop a competency framework, training options, toolkit resources, training delivery and supervision structures to support evidence-informed, trauma-focused practice.
  • Embed trauma-focused expertise within children’s services to strengthen the Home Again pilots, improve multi-agency and clinically informed working, and support earlier, better coordinated interventions.
  • Meet NHS quality assurance and clinical standards.
