Service contract

Provision of speech, language, and communication support services, including pathway development, parent workshops, and educational resources for children's services.

  • Update and refresh Worcestershire's SLCN Balanced System Pathway so parents, carers and the wider children's workforce have access to information, written materials and online webinars to develop children's speech, language and communication skills and know where to go if concerned about a child's development
  • Support and expand the 'lite' ELSEC Project to enable identified schools and settings to support children's speech, language and communication skills
  • Support delivery of parent workshops in ELSEC schools for strategies or approaches embedded into school practice, such as listening skills or concept teaching
  • Provide a package of support to identified feeder nurseries to support or enhance their universal and targeted offer, including identification and intervention tools such as Little Link, and any necessary equipment and resources
