What the contract covers

Independent auditing and related technical advisory service

Provision of independent gas safety auditing, technical consultancy, and incident investigation services for residential and commercial property portfolios.

  • Carry out audit assessments by selective sampling of all gas-related works undertaken on contracts within the North Lanarkshire Council geographical area
  • Maintain full and detailed records of audit areas, individuals audited and works activity; provide cumulative audit figures and complete reports detailing findings, inaccuracies and overall audit findings
  • Provide details of landlord or tenant issues, audit statistics with findings and recommendations, benchmarking, and all quality reports and summaries
  • Provide assistance with specifications, contractor technical-ability assessment, procurement advice, technical advice and a fault-finding service
  • Deliver one basic and one technical gas safety awareness session per annum
  • Provide gas incident investigation and reporting for natural and LPG systems
  • Assist with Scottish Housing Regulator enquiries and audits
  • Carry out boiler / plant room risk assessments
  • Participate in working groups to improve service to tenants and conduct tenant / end user satisfaction surveys for North Lanarkshire Council
  • Deliver technical bulletins to the NLC capital team and gas safety updates to all relevant parties
