  • Improve culturally appropriate food accessibility and affordability for residents from black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds
  • Support and make good use of local retailers and wholesalers of healthy, culturally appropriate food
  • Bring food support organisations together to establish a coordinated approach to procuring healthy, culturally appropriate plant-based food at a lower cost
  • Invest in food support VCS capacity building, leveraging best practice and further strengthening existing food support organisations in the borough that continues after council investment ends
  • Supporting at least 500 individuals and families per year across the borough
