What the contract covers

Service contract

Provision of specialist mental health treatment and screening services for women within the London criminal justice and court system.

Screen women referred by Probation, Defence or Liaison and Diversion who are potentially suitable for a Mental Health Treatment Requirement (MHTR).
Share the recommendation with Probation, where the individual agrees, for inclusion in the Pre Sentence Report for the Judiciary to consider whether an MHTR could be part of sentencing options.
Deliver a number of sessions over a court-determined specified period where a woman receives an MHTR as part of a community order.
Provide psychological treatment/interventions to address underlying mental health issues contributing towards underlying offending issues.
Work directly with probation to increase compliance and proactively support women to comply with the MHTR, reducing breaches.
