Provision of specialist laboratory testing services for food and feed imports, including pesticide, radiation, and microbiological contaminant analysis.

  • Analyse formal samples from imported fruits and vegetables for pesticide residues following physical examination under Retained Regulation (EU) 2019/1793
  • Provide microbiological analysis of products of animal origin and products not of animal origin, including testing for Salmonella spp in betel leaves as required by Retained Regulation (EU) 2019/1793
  • Carry out laboratory analysis of imported feed and food consignments for Caesium-134 and Caesium-137 under Commission Implementing Regulation 2016/6 as amended
  • Analyse samples for the listed contaminants, including formaldehyde and primary aromatic amines in plastic kitchenware, pesticide residues in dried products, mycotoxins, sulphur dioxide, chloramphenicol, veterinary residues, speciation, adulteration, nutrition and health claims, dangerous substances, heavy metals, histamine, dioxins, PAHs, unauthorised GMOs and Sudan dyes
  • Provide all testing required under Lots A-D for imported feed and food
