Works contract

Supply and installation of modular library shelving, bespoke furniture, and study workstations for public sector library environments.

  • Modular mobile shelving with connecting fillets for directional changes and creating defined physical spaces, for the library’s books and desirable book displays
  • Replacement counter, either a modular system or large desk, with additional lockable storage for staff files, materials, newspapers and magazines
  • Furniture seating with fabrics recommended for task and soft seating within public environments
  • Tables tested to BS EN 15372 Level 2
  • Study facilities and PC workstations
  • A design proposal for the Grade II* listed Central Library structured around zoning, flow and engagement, with accessible aisles for wheelchair access and sightlines for staff supervision
