Provision of vocational rail industry training, technical certification, and post-release pastoral support services for individuals within the prison estate.

Training covering Personal Track Safety (PTS) competence
Training covering Direct Current Conductor Rail (DCCR)
Training covering overhead line equipment (OLEC 1) and track induction (TIC)
Health and safety training and requirements including fire awareness
Training in how to use small plant machinery, tools and equipment for a minimum of 5 days
Theory and practical training on overhead line engineering, including bonding and rigging
Theory and practical training on signalling and telecommunications, including basic diagrams
Evidence of employers providing contracts of employment to learners prior to release
Arranging or enabling Network Rail Drug and Alcohol screening and medical assessment before the course commences
Pastoral 1-to-1 support to learners on release, including a named individual for TTG care within 48 hours, communication with the community offender manager, and at least weekly contact
