What the contract covers

Services

Provision of specialist IT and OT network architecture, cybersecurity consulting, and project delivery services for critical national infrastructure operators.

  • Provide costed strategy options including ‘to-be’ estate architecture and security design, including Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery design.
  • Provide a ‘to-be’ support model, resource plan including skills matrix and recruitment plan, detailed estate transition execution plan including hypercare and handover to support, risk assessment/management/mitigation approach, and end-state assessment reporting.
  • Create a new physically and logically separated Active Directory, directory scheme, configuration and access-control structure.
  • Physically separate network and server infrastructure, including servers and data centres, storage and backups, fibres, switches, routers, SHET-dedicated firewall appliances, WAN communications between SCADA and remote sites, and firewalls.
  • Physically separate Purdue level 3 so Transmission OT systems are accessible only to Transmission staff and approved suppliers, and segregate remote devices to a specific network zone.
  • Execute the agreed costed strategy, including estate transformation and on-site work across Scotland.
  • Provide functional, penetration-testing and BCDR testing where appropriate, service transition including SCADA Centre and substations, post-implementation hyper-care, and final outcomes and testing reporting.
