What the contract covers

Services contract

Provision of independent lived experience engagement and participation services for health and wellbeing programmes within secure justice and detention settings.

  • Consult and engage with service users on the full range of health and wellbeing services delivered within HMP Swaleside, HMP Elmley, HMP Standford Hill, HMP Maidstone, HMP/YOI Rochester, HMP/YOI East Sutton Park and HMP Cookham Wood, through on-site and remote engagement / participation activities.
  • Enable service users to contribute to continuous improvement and inform decision-making concerning healthcare provision.
  • Provide an independent voice and act as an independent and critical friend, independent from other healthcare service provision.
  • Support Commissioners and facilitate service user involvement in healthcare-services procurement processes within the establishments, as required.
  • Consult and engage with service users on the full range of health and wellbeing services delivered within HMP Send, HMP/YOI Downview, HMP Coldingley, HMP/YOI High Down and HMP/YOI Bronzefield, through on-site and remote engagement / participation activities.
  • Consult and engage with service users on the full range of health and wellbeing services delivered within HMP Grendon, HMP Springhill, HMP Huntercombe, HMP Bullingdon and HMP Aylesbury, through on-site and remote engagement / participation activities.
  • Consult and engage with service users on the full range of health and wellbeing services delivered within HMP Ford, HMP Lewes, HMP/YOI Winchester and HMP IOW, through on-site and remote engagement / participation activities.
  • Consult and engage with service users on the full range of health and wellbeing services delivered within Gatwick IRC (Brook House and Tinsley House) and Campsfield House IRC, through on-site and remote engagement / participation activities.
  • Consult and engage with service users on the full range of health and wellbeing services delivered within Lansdowne Secure Children’s Home, Swanwick Lodge Secure Children’s Home, Oasis Restore Secure School and the South East Framework for Integrated Care Community Services, through on-site and remote engagement / participation activities.
