What the contract covers

Services contract

Provision of business consultancy and digital transformation support services for manufacturing and engineering SMEs to enhance their industrial digital readiness.

  • Work with pre-identified regional manufacturing and engineering SMEs across the East of England to provide digital roadmaps/action plans with short-, medium- and long-term visions.
  • Provide follow-on intensive support around industrial digital technologies to enhance adoption and implementation of game-changing digital technologies within those businesses, including sourcing solutions.
  • Support businesses to apply for grants offering up to a maximum of £20,000 match funding opportunity per business.
  • Present recommendations to businesses, which may or may not be accepted.
  • Support the programme's operations and workforce through Leadership and Management Training and matchmaking SMEs with colleges and universities across the region to support internships.
