What is included

Multi-activity care of the green and open parts of an estate under one term contract: grass cutting, hedges, shrub and rose beds, weeding, leaf and litter clearance, and often minor tree and hard-surface work, to a specification with frequencies or outcome standards.

  • Whole-estate grounds maintenance of housing land, schools, colleges, hospitals, police, fire, prison, utility, research and heritage estates
  • Grounds maintenance of parks, open spaces, recreation grounds, verges and highway gardens when bought as maintenance only
  • Cyclical and reactive grounds work on hard and soft landscaped areas
  • Grounds maintenance DPSs, frameworks and PINs named only as grounds maintenance
  • Garden maintenance of overseas diplomatic residences and compounds
  • Grounds maintenance component of a joint streetscene, environmental services or FM contract
