Provision of independent consumer advocacy and health and social care scrutiny services for local authority partnership arrangements.

Gather local views and make them known to health and social care providers and commissioners
Monitor and scrutinise the quality of local health and social care services
Provide a seat on the local health and wellbeing board
Represent the collective voice of residents, patients, carers and the public, including children and young people, to commissioners, service providers and local politicians
Act as a focal point for the local community to have a voice in the commissioning and provision of health and social care
Provide opportunities for local people of all ages to influence decisions about their NHS and social care services
