Service contract

Provision of comprehensive grounds maintenance, sports pitch management, and horticultural services for public parks, recreation grounds, and urban verges.

Grass cutting and litter picking across all designated sites, including maintenance of grass-height limits and unobstructed pathways, signage and sightlines.
Playground maintenance, including certified play-grade sandpit top-ups, grass cutting and maintenance records.
Management and maintenance of football, rugby, cricket, dual-use and tennis facilities to safe, playable and match-ready standards, including line marking, seasonal maintenance and hazard repairs.
Cleaning, preparation, unlocking, locking and securing of changing rooms and associated facilities.
Emergency grounds and playground response, including making unsafe areas safe within two hours and repairing playground equipment within 24 hours where reasonably practicable.
Four-times-per-annum cutting of approximately 129,378 m² of urban grass verges.
Control of vegetation encroachment onto footpaths, signage and sightlines.
Lawful removal and disposal of all debris resulting from verge cutting.
Planting and maintenance of seasonal displays across the specified beds, planters and Crouch Peace Gardens.
Cultivation and horticultural maintenance of the Crouch Peace Gardens, including weeding, pruning, deadheading, dividing, feeding, mulching, watering and replacement planting.
