What the contract covers

Service contract

Provision of IT infrastructure maintenance and technical support services for GP practice server environments and associated hardware estates.

  • Maintenance and support for EMIS Web GP Practices with a non-clinical Local Server (Spoke server) that connects to the hosted system and EMIS Web Clinical Software.
  • Additional remote and on-site hardware support for desktops, laptops, script printers, label printers, colour printers and scanners in EMIS Web GP Practices, including patching and security upgrades for EMIS Web compatibility and Cyber Security compliance.
  • EMIS Web backup support, including configuration and reporting of nightly encrypted backups to the practice clinical server’s internal tape drive.
