Reinforcement covers two barn roofs at one farm and two buildings at another, with work limited to south-facing roof sides. Existing C24 timber purlins are to be augmented using specified 50×175 mm or 75×200 mm C24 purlins across 4.6 m and 6.0 m spans. Connections may be glued and screwed at 200 mm centres or bolted with M12 bolts at 300 mm staggered centres.
